Volume 32, Number 8
February 25, 2019

Happy Monday morning from the Department of Communication. Tons of news this week including advising, registration for the summer and fall, and our big internship job fair. All that and more, so, here's the latest from Comm-Announce.

ADVISING AND REGISTRATION NEWS
Registration for the summer and fall semester is not too far away. Registration begins with graduate students on Tuesday, March 26 and then continues with seniors on Wednesday, March 27. For a schedule of when you can register, please go to the following link: http://louisville.edu/registrar/registration-information

A schedule of classes for the fall 2019 semester will be available online at the start of spring break (summer schedule is already posted). Once it becomes available, our academic advisors will have extra times in the month of March for advising appointments. To schedule, go to http://commcourses.com/advise/. If no times are available, please send the professor an email requesting a meeting.

If you are not yet a Communication major, you will continue to be advised by Arts and Sciences until you declare your major (after you successfully complete Comm 201).

Graduating seniors should see Dr. Kandi Walker for advising. If you are a freshman, sophomore, or junior and have declared your Communication major, you may see Dr. Mary Ashlock or Dr. Kandi Walker.

If you have questions, drop an email to Professor Walker and she will get you pointed in the right direction (kandi.walker@louisville.edu).

Our advisors would like to make sure you are fully prepared when you come in for spring advising. It would be very helpful if you could take a look at the schedule of classes before you come in. In the meantime, if you have a general question about advising, look at the Frequently Asked Questions section on our Web site: http://commcourses.com/advise/faq.php
