Researchers in the Department of Communication and the Department of Civil Engineering are conducting a study to explore the effects of traffic information on driving safety. COMM INTERNSHIP FAIR COMING SOOON
The Communication Internship Fair is just around the corner. More than 20 employers will be on hand on Thursday, February 28, 11:30 to 1:30 in the Red Barn, to talk to students about internship opportunities. Don't miss this chance to talk with organizations who are anxious to offer internships to students for this coming summer and next fall. Sponsored by our Young Communication Professionals chapter, the Department of Communication, and the Career Development Center.

DIVERSITY CAREER FAIR
The Career Development Center sponsors the Diversity Career Fair on Wednesday, February 20, 11 am to 1 pm in the SAC Multipurpose room. A host of employers will be on hand to talk to students about career opportunities. Dress for success and come out to talk with employers about your future.

WASHINGTON DC INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The 2019 Institute on Political Journalism, to be held this summer at Georgetown University, provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fields of journalism and communications, while living in the nation's capital. The program also includes courses for academic credit, career development activities, exclusive briefings and lectures led by prominent policy experts. The initial deadline for "priority" applications to receive special scholarship consideration is coming up on February 12 with the final deadline about a month later.
