Join us – Become a speech mentor
What a great opportunity for you to join the Speakers Center as a speech mentor. Being a mentor provides you with skills you will use throughout your career such as stronger leadership, understanding message organization, improving listening, teaching and guiding, and a myriad of other helpful skills.
The requirements are simple: Have an interest in helping others improve, have taken Comm 111, 112, 115 (or equivalent Cardinal Core OC course) with at least a “B” in the course, enroll in the Advanced Public Speaking course (Comm 302) in the Department of Communication, and set up a meeting with the Director, Katherine Taylor (katherine.taylor@louisville.edu) to discuss your interest.
