Intercultural Forum

The Intercultural Forum is a public forum for academics who desire to share their research paradigms in the public sphere. The articles, monographs, and textbooks within the forum are interdisciplinary and intercultural. They are interdisciplinary in that they transcend the horizons set up by their academic disciplines and they are intercultural in that the information goes beyond the cultural frameworks of nation-states. The research disciplines welcomed by the forum include many of the cultural sciences: Linguistics, Anthropology, Sociology, Political Science, Ethnoscience, Ethnomusicology, Philosophy, and Art Theory. The language of these publications is International English. However, they are not limited to this language. The languages accepted for publication are only limited by the linguistic expertise of the members of the international advisory editorial board.

There are three avenues available for the imparting of newly emerging paradigms associated with one or more of these disciplines. They include an online journal, online monograph series, and online textbooks.

The Intercultural Forum Online Journal: The Intercultural Forum is an online journal of the Institute for Intercultural Communication at the University of Louisville. It publishes a wide range of interdisciplinary articles in several languages that have to do with communication across cultures.

The Intercultural Monograph Series: The online Monograph Series is a publication series of the Institute for Intercultural Communication at the University of Louisville. It publishes scholarly research in monograph form. These books have been peer reviewed and published with an ISSN number. The online books may be purchased from the publisher in hardback or paperback form. These hard copies may be used within an academic setting for promotion or review.

Online Textbooks: The Online Textbook Series is a publication of the Institute for Intercultural Communication at the University of Louisville. What makes these publications different from course packs is that these books have been peer-reviewed and published with an ISBN number. The online textbooks may be purchased from the publisher in hardback or paperback and used in academic promotion or review.

Institute Conference and Seminars: In addition to the publication of journals, research monographs, and textbooks, the Institute for Intercultural Communication also holds conferences and seminars on related content areas.
